Toowong Cemetery
marked the 140th anniversary of its first year of operation with a Heritage Day and
Dance Kaleidoscope joined in the activities, including accompanying the
funeral cortege in the re-enactment of the burial of Governor Blackall.

Shafston House celebrated its 160th anniversary and Dance Kaleidoscope joined in to demonstrate dances of that period. We encouraged the students attending the party to join one of our dances.
At History Alive Dance Kaleidoscope demonstrated dances from the Regency period.
At Wolston House Dance Kaleidoscope danced the afternoon away as part of Heritage Week.

Dance Kaleidoscope had a busy May Day. They started by joining the Morris dancers to dance up the sun at Mt Cootha and performed English clogging and rapper. Then on to the Redlands Heritage Festival for an afternoon of Colonial dancing.
At Woodford Dance Kaleidoscope demonstrated several different styles of dance. Firstly English clogging and rapper sword dancing. Then a Playford dance workshop that was once again well attended.

Dance Kaleidoscope was invited to perform at the Helidon Celtic Festival.
Dance Kaleidoscope organised a dance workshop at Maleny, led by Colin Towns and Sheree. Some also did a spot of rapper dancing.
Dance Kaleidoscope returned to Ormiston House for their spring celebration.

For something a little different, Dance Kaleidoscope performed some medieval dances at the Abbey Medieval Festival accompanied by live music from Cloudstreet.
Dance Kaleidoscope attended the Teneriffe Festival adding a taste of the history of the site with their costumes and dances.
After a slow start Dance Kaleidoscope demonstrated several Playford dances at Ormiston House for their Camelia Day.
